Jeremy Siefer is an Emmy Award-winning documentary editor. An Arizona native who relocated to Los Angeles in 2016 after 15 years in New York City, his credits include the feature documentaries Yusuf Hawkins: Storm Over Brooklyn (HBO), Blood Brothers: Malcolm X & Muhammad Ali (Netflix) and Bronx Obama (Showtime). He served as supervising editor on the series Murder Mountain (Netflix), Dark Net (Showtime), and Oprah Winfrey’s Belief (OWN/Discovery). Siefer started his career shooting and cutting music docs around the world, from Singapore to São Paulo. Then as now, he sees the craft of nonfiction storytelling as a process of discovery: a search for the rhythm and the resonance of human life.
